Art In The Streets causes more art in the streets

Art In The Streets causes more art in the streets

Los Angeles Times ran a story talking about the rise in street art in the surrounding areas of the MOCA Art in the Streets exhibition. County sheriffs say that “The exhibit kind of glorifies graffiti” and that the area has seen a conspicuous increase in graffiti in the past few weeks since the exhibition opened.

We want to acknowledge all of the service men and women that have proudly served this country through out the years and honor those who lost their lives proudly while doing so. Here at Jamie Marx, we have been raised and educated by veterans and service men and women from the day we were born, so this holiday means a lot to us and the people around us. Thank you all for your honor and loyalty to this beautiful country of ours.

Unified as One.

With a father thats a steamfitter and a mother thats a school teacher, I have learned the power of the unions and believe in the rights that they stand for.
Last Week over 30,000 workers gathered together to protest for workers rights in Downtown LA. Standing up for the workers in Wisconsin the Unions of southern California came together to take a stand. Along with help from The Night Watchman, Tom Morello, they made a big impact. I was lucky enough to be walking through the area with my camera and captured some really emotional and strong footage.

THANK YOU FLYING KITES.

THANK YOU FLYING KITES.

Sometimes in the midst of work, life and all around craziness, you loose sight or forget about the basis of life, humanity and being a good person. From time to time you will have an eye opening experience, meet someone new that enlightens you or just have a good quality conversation that brings you back to earth. We are lucky enough to have the folks at Flying Kites. Every now and then we will receive  pictures from their travels that remind us why we do what we do. All the warm smiles and positivity that radiates from their mission always have a lasting effect on me and changes my day.  Thank you all once again for constantly making the world a better place and keeping us in the loop!
